About Morale Patches

Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.

Morale Patches for Groups

Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.

Campaign Specific Patches

Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that mission, assignment, or campaign. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended.

Morale Patch Attachment

Most morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches need to use strong matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.

Kinds Of Patch Material

Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
