About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the status that comes from finishing that campaign, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who was there when the mission occurred.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
