About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent method to create comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that mission, campaign, or task. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
