About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for team acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to create camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the status that comes from completing that mission, campaign, or task. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About LEGEEON Morale Patches
Patches like the LEGEEON Olive Drab OD EMS EMT Star of Life USA Flag GreenParamedic Medical Morale Tactical Army Gear Sew Iron on Patch made by the LEGEEON usually hold up quite well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and sewing the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
