About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that mission, assignment, or campaign. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, bag, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the positioning area. Sew-on patches need to use strong stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The main front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing panel.
About LEGEEON Morale Patches
Patches like the LEGEEON Subdued Rare Norse Viking Raven Runes Odin God of War ACU Morale PVC Rubber 3D Touch Fastener Patch made by the LEGEEON usually hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
