About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these group patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is an excellent way to create comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that assignment, mission, or campaign. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning area. Sew-on patches should use strong matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Generic Morale Patches
Patches like the Girls’ Frontline – Griffin Kryuger: HK 416, Hook Loop Tactics Morale Woven Anime Patch made by the Generic typically hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
