About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these group patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great method to create camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that comes from completing that assignment, campaign, or mission. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who was there.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Gadsden and Culpeper Morale Patches
Patches like the We The People – Tactical Morale Patch – Red White & Blue made by the Gadsden and Culpeper normally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to equipment. It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
