About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that mission, campaign, or task. When the mission took place, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
About F-Bomb Morale Gear Morale Patches
Patches like the Zero Care Bear – Embroidered Morale Patch made by the F-Bomb Morale Gear normally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great idea to take off Velcro patches prior to washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
