Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. Choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent method to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that operation, task, or mission. Mission patches are a good method to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
