About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, select a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that operation, mission, or assignment. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning area. Sew-on patches must use strong stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.

Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. It is a great suggestion to take off Velcro patches prior to washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
