About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for team acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to develop camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that mission, task, or tour of duty. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
