About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that mission, assignment, or campaign. Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The primary front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Empire Tactical USA Morale Patches
Patches like the The Tactical Expendable Tab Patch Military Morale Patch made by the Empire Tactical USA typically hold up quite well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to take off Velcro patches prior to washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
