About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these team patches for team acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that mission, task, or operation. Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Empire Tactical USA Morale Patches
Patches like the TRUMP 2020 THE SEQUEL PVC MORALE PATCH made by the Empire Tactical USA typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches prior to washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
