About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the status that comes from finishing that assignment, campaign, or mission. Mission patches are a good method to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The main front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Cross Medical Rescue Reflective Patch Military Hook Loop Tactics Morale Patch made by the Embroidery Patch normally hold up quite well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
