About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the status that originates from completing that campaign, mission, or task. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The main front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About Cypress Collectibles Embroidered Patches Morale Patches
Patches like the Alien Head Patch Embroidered Iron-On UFO Extraterrestrial Green Smiling Applique made by the Cypress Collectibles Embroidered Patches typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and stitching the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to equipment. It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches prior to washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
