About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. Choose a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent way to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that campaign, task, or mission. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The main front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About BASTION Morale Patches
Patches like the Bastion Tactical Combat Badge PVC Morale Patch Hook and Loop Patch – Sagittarius Lite Grn made by the BASTION generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
