About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The main front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing panel.
About BASTION Morale Patches
Patches like the Bastion Tactical Combat Badge PVC Morale Patch Hook and Loop Patch – Genesis 26:24 ACU made by the BASTION usually hold up quite well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to gear. However, it is an excellent suggestion to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
