About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that tour of duty, mission, or campaign. Mission patches are a good method to highlight who was there when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The main front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Appalachian Spirit Morale Patches
Patches like the Stay Weird Patch Embroidered Funny Badge Biker Applique Iron On Sew On Emblem made by the Appalachian Spirit usually hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread includes taking a sewing needle and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. It is a great suggestion to take off Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
