About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that comes from completing that campaign, task, or mission. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches must use sturdy matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
About Appalachian Spirit Morale Patches
Patches like the Dolphins Embroidered Premium Patch DIY Iron-on or Sew-on Decorative Badge Emblem Vacation Souvenir Travel Gear Clothes Appliques Meg Great White Sharks Whales Ocean Life Explore Jaws made by the Appalachian Spirit generally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. Nevertheless, it is an excellent suggestion to remove Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
