About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. Choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to build comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the status that comes from finishing that task, campaign, or mission. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the placement spot. Stitch-on patches need to use strong stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
