About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that campaign, task, or mission. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About Almost SGT Morale Patches
Patches like the Akatsuki Red Cloud Patch Naruto – Funny Tactical Military Morale Embroidered Patch Hook Backing(Camouflage) made by the Almost SGT typically hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to equipment. Nevertheless, it is a great choice to take off Velcro patches before washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
