About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, select a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that assignment, mission, or operation. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About ALIPLUS Morale Patches
Patches like the Trump Patches Make America Great Again Patch Hook and Loop Patches 14 PCS made by the ALIPLUS generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle with the thread through the eye and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches prior to washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
