From the Maxpedition Gearslinger lineup, the Noatak pack allows you the ergonomic comfort of a backpack with the quick and easy access of a sling bag. Designed to be worn on the back with a comfortable strap that distributes weight evenly across the shoulders, the Noatak rotates 270 degrees towards the front of the body when you need access to the contents. Particularly useful when the pack is worn while seated, this is also a great feature when you’re walking through the field, saving you the time and trouble of removing the bag.
Built to keep you comfortable in extreme environments, the Noatak’s back panel and shoulder strap are padded with #AS-100 high grade closed-cell foam material for superior shock protection, keeping you and your bag’s contents well protected. The multi-compartment pack features a roomy main compartment with multiple interior pockets, a zippered front pouch with an internal “Keyper” (key retention system) and sleeve pockets, a hydration compatible rear compartment also equipped with a loop to hold a firearm, and a side water bottle pocket. Exterior modular webbing allows attachment of various pouches while internal loop fields facilitate concealed carry.

In addition to its great, ergonomic gearslinger design, the Noatak boasts the exceptionally sturdy, Hard-Use nylon design and construction that Maxpedition is known for. Not only is the bag built to withstand extreme conditions and hard-use in demanding situations and environments, the Noatak pack also features low-sound opening and closures, and plain colors (green and tan) designed to blend into a wide range of natural and man-made environments during the day or in the night. In brief, the Noatak is constructed of 1000-Denier water and abrasion resistant light-weight ballistic nylon fabric with Dupont Teflon fabric protector for grime resistance and easy maintenance, and triple polyurethane coated for water resistance. The bag features never-fail YKK high strength zippers and zipper tracks with durable, silent Paracord zipper pulls, and UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles offer low sound closures ideal for hunting and stealth uses. Stitched entirely with high tensile strength composite nylon thread and double stitched, Bartacked, or “Box-and-X” stitched for added strength at stress points, you can count on this bag not to fail. For additional weather resistance and durability, the Noatak’s internal seams are taped and finished.
