About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the prestige that originates from finishing that campaign, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About TACOPSGEAR Morale Patches
Patches like the Medusa Gorgon Greek Monster Airsoft Archer Patch by HIWEZ made by the TACOPSGEAR typically hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great idea to take off Velcro patches prior to washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
