About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent way to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that campaign, mission, or task. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, uniform, or bag panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement spot. Stitch-on patches must use sturdy stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
About ZHDTW Morale Patches
Patches like the ZHDTW Tactical Morale Decorative Patches Letter with Hook Loop Bad Decision Makes Good Stories (DT044) made by the ZHDTW usually hold up quite well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to equipment. It is an excellent choice to remove Velcro patches before cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
