About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent way to create camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the status that originates from finishing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
About ZHDTW Morale Patches
Patches like the ZHDTW Tactical Morale US Flag Embroidered Patches with Hook and Loop (DT-032) made by the ZHDTW usually hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches before washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
