About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is a great way to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The main front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About uuKen Morale Patches
Patches like the uuKen Large Funny Sheriffs Office PVC Patch 8×4 inches Multi Camo for Molle Morale Tactical Vest Shoulder Chest Bags Backpacks (Camo, L 8×4) made by the uuKen typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to gear. It is a great choice to remove Velcro patches prior to washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
