About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is an excellent method to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that mission, task, or operation. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The primary front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical PVC Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Metal Gear Solid Rising Militaires Sans Frontieres Morale Military Patch 3D PVC Rubber Tactical Rubber Hook Patch made by the Tactical PVC Patch normally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
