About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that operation, assignment, or mission. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical PVC Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Noctilucous Anonymous V for Vendetta Morale Military Patch 3D PVC Rubber Tactical Rubber Hook Patch (color1) made by the Tactical PVC Patch generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. However, it is an excellent choice to take off Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
