About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is a great way to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that operation, task, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning area. Sew-on patches need to use strong stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing panel.
