About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. Choose a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is a great method to grow camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the status that originates from finishing that mission, task, or tour of duty. When the mission took place, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who was there.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Patch Works Morale Patches
Patches like the Dustin Son Thun Of A Bitsh Stranger Things Inspired Art Patch made by the Tactical Patch Works generally hold up quite well. Ensure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
