Morale Patches for Teams

If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great method to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, assignment, or operation. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Patch Works Morale Patches
Patches like the IT Pennywise Inspired Art You’ll Float Too Patch made by the Tactical Patch Works normally hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. However, it is an excellent idea to take off Velcro patches prior to washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
