About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for group recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent way to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who display these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that assignment, mission, or operation. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Freaky Morale Patches
Patches like the Tiny 1×2 IR Multicam Evil Smiley DEVGRU Army Tactical Morale Touch Fastener Patch made by the Tactical Freaky generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches before washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
