About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the status that originates from completing that assignment, mission, or campaign. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, bag, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the positioning spot. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the USA Flag Embroidery Patch Military Tactical Morale Patch Badges Emblem Applique Hook Patches for Clothes Backpack Accessories made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and sewing the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. It is a good idea to remove Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
