About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that mission, operation, or task. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who was there.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The main front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Alpha-4 Pony Express Mobile Task Forces Special Containment Procedures Foundation SCP Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch typically hold up pretty well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and sewing the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to equipment. However, it is an excellent suggestion to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
