About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is a great way to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that campaign, mission, or assignment. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Special Containment Procedures Foundation SCP Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (Black) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
