About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, select a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that tour of duty, mission, or operation. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning area. Sew-on patches should use sturdy matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing panel.
