About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. Pick a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is a great method to create comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that operation, task, or mission. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, bag, or uniform panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the placement spot. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the NASA Apollo 50th Anniversary Moon Lunar Landing Space Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch usually hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches prior to washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
