About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that comes from completing that tour of duty, mission, or campaign. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The main front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the IR France RAID Flag Infrared Reflective Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (color2) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch typically hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to equipment. Nevertheless, it is a great choice to remove Velcro patches before washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
