About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, uniform, or bag panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the placement spot. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Flying Wings Gasoline Hot Rod Drag Halloween MC Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up pretty well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to equipment. However, it is a great suggestion to take off Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
