About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that task, campaign, or mission. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the positioning spot. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the TOP Gun Pete Maverick Mitchell Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent idea to take off Velcro patches before cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
