About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the prestige that originates from finishing that mission, campaign, or assignment. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Stinking Patch Co. Morale Patches
Patches like the Flux Capacitor PVC Tactical Patch | Back to The Future Inspired Funny Morale Patch made by the Stinking Patch Co. generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches before washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
