About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Zeato Tactical Molle EDC Utility Pouch Compact Gadget Belt Waist Pack with Cell Phone Holster Holder for iPhone Xs Max/XR/Xs/X,Galaxy S10e/S10/S10 Plus/Note 9/S9 Plus/S9 LG Sony and More (Black) is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. MOLLE pouches have just recently become popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top option for securing military design pouches to range gear, vests, range bags, and other kinds of field gear. MOLLE straps offer a flexible way for users to select the mounting area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only limitation becomes which pouches to put to use and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE means Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are used in the MOLLE management system. Here are the 3 parts of the mounting system: MOLLE pouches, straps, and panels. Installing tactical pouches is easy and quick. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the most efficient MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear beginning with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches are available in all colors and camouflage patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches below for what they appear like:
About the Zeato Brand
The Zeato brand is quite well-known among airsoft players. They manufacture great quality airsoft pouches and other products. You can find information on the brand’s site if you have concerns about their airsoft gear or customer service questions.
Kinds Of Zeato MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in design. They are among the initial styles of pouches developed to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally secured with Velcro. The flap could include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a couple of differences. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine securely under pressure. In order to make mag accessibility easier and mag swaps faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch elements are normally made from ABS components.
The Zeato brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized stress bands (depending upon maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you do not need to be concerned about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Zeato MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches can be found in similar styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most typically used variations of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same style.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to discard empty mags and other gear into during gunfights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring closure tops for additional security while moving on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. A first aid kit needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make a place for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else generally. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own separate pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft teams manage radios and communications devices on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
