About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Upgraded Army Sport Water Bottle Pouch Bag with Mini Wallet Bag, Tactical Drawstring MOLLE Bottle Holder Pouches and Portable Key Bag, Travel Carrier Survival tool for Hiking Climbing Fishing (550ML) is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last few years due to tactical developments and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top option for securing military style pouches to tactical equipment, airsoft vests, range bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps offer a unique method for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only constraint becomes which pouches to adopt and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.

Kinds Of LZYMSZ MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty standard in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is generally secured with Velcro. In addition to being available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most budget friendly methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are comparable to the standard mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility a lot easier and reloads faster than before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The LZYMSZ brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized stress bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t need to worry about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
LZYMSZ MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically used versions of handgun pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same style.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is typically much better than one. This pouch proves this to be true given that it saves you money from having to buy a pair of pouches. For instance, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever buy pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a space for you to throw empty mags and other gear into rapidly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for extra security while on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK is an acronym meaning individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they have to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit must include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. Think spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or in a tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft organizations use communications and radios equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
