About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Tactical Molle Pouch Compact EDC Utility Gadget Belt Waist Bag Pack Camping Hiking Outdoor with Cell Phone Holster for iPhone 6 6s 7 8 PLUS Samsung S5 S6 S7 Edge Note 2 LG G3 G4 G5 HTC M7 M8, Black is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently become popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to gear, tactical vests, range bags, and other types of field gear. MOLLE straps offer a unique way for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location. The only constraint becomes which pouches to apply and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE represents Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are applied in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE pouches, straps, and panels. Installing tactical pouches is simple and fast. All airsoft players have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s take a look at a few of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many various colors and camo patterns.
About the MoMo Casier Brand
The MoMo Casier brand is fairly well-known among airsoft players. They make decent quality airsoft equipment and other products. You can find information on the brand’s website if you have questions about their airsoft pouches or customer service questions.
Types of MoMo Casier MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to have on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty standard in design. They are one of the original designs of pouches created to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally fastened with Velcro. The flap could feature a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being available from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most economical methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and extract magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing pouches. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The MoMo Casier brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
MoMo Casier MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which come in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently chosen versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are exceptional quality, usable, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is typically far better than one. This pouch proves this to be accurate given that it saves you cash from needing to purchase a pair of pouches. For example, the cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never purchase pouches individually which you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine collection pouches) make a spot for you to place empty mags and other gear into quickly during battle. These tactical pouches are generally carried on tactical belts in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after you reload your airsoft gun, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while on the airsoft field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a pouch that is full.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players need when they have to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. A first aid pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else generally. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own special pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft groups carry radios and communications equipment in the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
