About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The OneTigris Tactical MOLLE Pouch & T’Farge Airsoft Mask is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE pouches have recently ended up being popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to military gear, vests, deployment bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps offer a unique way for users to select the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only limitation ends up being which pouches to apply and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camo patterns.

Types of OneTigris MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are quite basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally fastened with Velcro. In addition to being available from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to put in and take out magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while accessing or swapping gun equipment. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine securely under tension. In order to make mag accessibility easier and reloads faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are normally made from ABS construction.
The OneTigris brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t have to be concerned about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
OneTigris MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches are available in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently seen versions of handgun pouches. A number of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same style. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are excellent quality, functional, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are normally far better than one. This pouch shows this to be correct because it saves you money from having to buy a pair of pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all six separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never purchase pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a space for you to discard empty magazines and other gear into quickly. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for additional security while moving on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players require when they have to patch up a cut or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack must contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else generally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Lots of airsoft organizations employ radios and communications equipment on the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
