About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The OneTigris Multicam Tactical Pouch & Airsoft Mask with Ear Protection is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps offer a flexible method for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the leading MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches can be found in all colors and camo patterns. Common pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Check out the example swatches in the product description for what they look like:

Kinds Of OneTigris MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in design. They are among the original styles of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally attached with Velcro. The flap could feature a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most budget-friendly ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch style eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines. This allows silent access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE connections so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The OneTigris brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending on maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t need to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
OneTigris MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches are available in similar styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently chosen versions of handgun pouches. A number of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same style. This consists of manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are outstanding quality, usable, and are replicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of mags are typically far better than one. This pouch shows this to be accurate since it saves you cash from having to buy a pair of pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all six individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never buy pouches separately which you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag collection pouches) make a spot for you to discard empty mags and other things into quickly during battle. These tactical pouches are normally carried in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty magazines after you reload your gun, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other tactical gear while in the field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra closure security while moving with a pouch full of empty clips.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit needs to contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create a place for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else generally. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups use communications and radios equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
