About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The OneTigris Multicam Tactical MOLLE Pouch & Black Tactical Belt is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE pouches have recently become popular in the last several years due to tactical developments and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to tactical equipment, tactical vests, range bags, and other types of field gear. MOLLE straps offer a flexible method for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location. The only constraint becomes which pouches to adopt and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the leading MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft gear starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many various colors and camouflage patterns.

Kinds Of OneTigris MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to have on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in style. They are one of the original styles of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap could feature a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most affordable methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the basic mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch style eliminates the flap leaving an open top to put in and take out magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while accessing or reloading gun gear. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and clip reloads faster than before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE connections so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The OneTigris brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
OneTigris MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this resilient Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently found variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is usually much better than one. This pouch shows this to be correct because it saves you money from needing to buy two pouches. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never purchase pouches separately when you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag retrieval pouches) create a space for you to place empty mags and other gear into quickly. These tactical pouches are normally carried on your belt in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty magazines after you reload your airsoft rifle, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while on the airsoft field. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create room for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. You can carry things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft organizations use radios and communications devices in the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
