About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The OneTigris MOLLE Gadget Pouch & Tactical Mask for Airsoft (Black) is a tactical pouch. Most tactical pouches attach with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE straps offer a versatile way for users to pick the installation place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE represents Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are managed in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, panels, and pouches. Installing tactical pouches is quick and easy. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the system works, let’s take a look at a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camo patterns.

Types of OneTigris MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is normally secured with Velcro. In addition to being available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget-friendly methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of modifications. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch style eliminates the flap leaving an open top to put in and extract magazines. This enables silent access and increased speed while accessing or refilling weapon gear. These mag pouches can come in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than ever, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The OneTigris brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps safely hold the magazines so you do not have to be concerned about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
OneTigris MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most commonly found variations of handgun pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same style.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all six independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make an area for you to dump empty mags and other gear into during gunfights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for additional security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players need when they have to patch up a cut or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own special pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or in a tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft units use communications and radios devices in the field. Using a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
