About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The MAGARROW Tactical Molle Pouch Compact Utility Gadget Waist EDC Bag with Shoulder Strap is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently become popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to military gear, tactical vests, range bags, and other kinds of military equipment. MOLLE straps provide a unique way for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only constraint becomes which pouches to adopt and where to place them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and identifies the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft gun magazine pouches.

Kinds Of MAGARROW MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ because they are quite basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is typically fastened with Velcro. In addition to being available from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most budget friendly ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are comparable to the standard mag pouches with a couple of differences. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most sophisticated kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine tightly under tension. In order to make mag accessibility easier and reloads faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are generally made of ABS construction.
The MAGARROW brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
MAGARROW MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches are available in related designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most commonly found variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is typically far better than one. This pouch shows this to be accurate considering that it saves you money from having to purchase two pouches. For instance, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all six separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never buy pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) create an area for you to discard empty magazines and other gear into quickly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra security while on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack must contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else generally. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own separate pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft groups use communications and radios equipment on the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
